Which countries citizens have never disarmed peacefully

An armed man is a citizen.
A disarmed man is a subject.

All one has to do is study history to understand that an armed man is a citizen and a disarmed man is a subject. Time and time again, governments throughout history have disarmed its citizens only to then turn on them and slaughter those who disagreed with the government’s beliefs. Of course, the government always has some “good excuse” for disarming its citizens; but that has rarely changed the final outcome.

Once a citizenry has been disarmed, and the government’s military, and criminals, are the only ones with weapons, the citizens are left defenseless against both. This allows the government to do as it will; and criminals to freely prey on innocent citizens.

No matter why people of other countries decide, or are forced, to give up their arms, the United States is an independent country which was both conquered and defended by independent and free men and women. Our founding fathers knew the importance of our citizens being armed.

Thomas Jefferson stated, “No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms…I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.” Benjamin Franklin agreed with this sentiment, stating, “Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety…Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!”

George Mason stated, “To disarm the people is the most effectual way to enslave them,” a sentiment also stated by Hitler, who put this philosophy to use when taking power in Germany, and we all know how that turned out. Noah Webster also stated this fact, saying, “Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed, as they are in almost every country in Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops.”

James Madison stated, “The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.” And Patrick Henry stated, “Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are ruined…The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able must have a gun.”

Thomas Paine and Samuel Adams also stated the importance of the American people being armed. Paine stated, “The supposed quietude of a good man allures the ruffian; while on the other hand, arms, like law, discourage and keep the invader and the plunderer in awe, and preserve order in the world as well as property.” Well, we all know that the law has failed at discouraging criminals and murderers. We are left with arms.

Adams stated, “The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to infringe…on the rights of conscience; or to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms.”

I could go on and on, but you get the point, unless you are one of the multitudes who resemble a deer in the headlights. The citizens of the United States who maintain and defend the right to own firearms, are the last bastion of freedom on this planet. Once Americans surrender their arms, the governments of this world are free to do as they will with all of the people on this planet.

I would also argue that once the American people are disarmed, the United States of America will soon fall prey to our enemies. Our military is stretched to its breaking point. One of the reasons that no other country has dared to invade the United States is, as the Japanese Emperor stated during WWII, in our country, there is a rifle behind every blade of grass.

While this statement is greatly exaggerated, it remains true that the people of the United States are better armed and more willing to defend our homeland than the people of any other country. Even without our amazing military, invading the United States would be a nightmare for any of our enemies. That is, unless our government can somehow disarm our citizens.

An armed man is a citizen; a disarmed man is a subject. This will always be true, but way too many people in our country do not comprehend this fact. Today, many misguided Americans are protesting their own rights, begging our government to take away their freedom of speech and their freedom to defend themselves. How foolish these people are!

This great country, like the Roman Empire, could never be defeated by another country; we can only be defeated from within. Sadly, we have a multitude of fools in our country who from misguided beliefs, are working overtime to destroy our great nation. Some of the people actually know what they are doing and truly want the United States to fall. Others are simply ignorant of the consequences of their misguided beliefs.

Make no mistake about it, you are living on the razor’s edge. True Americans can no longer sit back and laugh while fools protest in the streets. Your freedom is hanging by a thread, and yet many people appear to be oblivious to the danger we are facing.

Like our founding fathers, the people in this country are facing a life-changing decision. Will you stand and fight for your right to live free or will you sit idly by while radicals and misguided citizens lobby for our government to take away your freedoms.

Doing nothing is still making a choice. Will you choose to live free and self-reliant or will you choose to live as a sheep and hope that the government or someone else will protect you? Your freedom is in your hands. The time to choose is soon upon you.
