If both the colleges runs under the same university, you can change your college through the procedure of Internal Sliding. With this process you can change your college.
It seems the Holy Grail for scorecards and dashboards seems to be organizations seeking to answer, “What should our key performance indicators (KPIs) be?” At the heart of selecting KPIs should be their linkage to the executive team’s strategy. However, there are different stakeholders in an organization, such as internal managers and investor governance boards. Each stakeholder has different needs.

Public libraries are constantly evaluating the quality of their services and striving to meet the needs of 21st century users. The How good is our public library service. (HGIOPLS) framework helps public libraries demonstrate the quality of these services and the impact they have on communities. It sits alongside Ambition & Opportunity, the public library strategy for Scotland, and the Public Library Improvement Fund as the cornerstones of developing and enhancing Scotland’s public libraries.
The past three weeks have seen a steady backlash against the referendum. It is understandable that many don’t like the outcome, after all 48% voted for Remain. But beyond disagreeing with the decision to leave the European Union, was the process so faulty that it can reasonably be declared illegitimate. I would argue no.I make an immediate exception for those who, as a matter of principle, oppose the use of referendums.
Editor's note: High school seniors get nervous in the fall, as they wait for college acceptance letter to make their dreams come true or ruin their lives. In the midst of the tension, rumors fly about what edges students can gain or what is a sure-fire way to get turned down. Our education blogger, Maureen Downey, truth-tested the rumors by talking to administrators at Georgia’s two flagship universities, Georgia Tech and UGA.
Gas Turbine Power Plants Gas Turbine Working Principle Gas turbine engines derive their power from burning fuel in a combustion chamber and using the fast flowing combustion gases to drive a turbine in much the same way as the high pressure steam drives a steam turbine. One major difference however is that the gas turbine has a second turbine acting as an air compressor mounted on the same shaft. The air turbine (compressor) draws in air, compresses it and feeds it at high pressure into the combustion chamber increasing the intensity of the burning flame.
Progressives have branded Jon Ossoff’s loss in Georgia’s special congressional election a “massive failure” for establishment Democrats that illustrates the need for leftwing candidates in the 2018 midterms.Ossoff lost to Karen Handel in Georgia’s sixth congressional district on Tuesday night, in the most expensive House race in history. Although the district is traditionally Republican, Democrats had hoped to pull off a shock win inspired by a backlash against Donald Trump.'Inspirational' Corbyn offers blueprint for our party, say left-leaning DemocratsBut Ossoff’s defeat provoked immediate soul-searching. One Democratic congressman said on Wednesday the party leadership “owes us an explanation” for the loss.Key figures in the progressive movement said Ossoff had lost because he ran a “Republican-lite” campaign – instead of embracing progressive issues.“I’m not surprised.
Contrary to popular belief, there is no such thing as common law marriage in most of the United States. And, while common law marriages are recognized in 15 states and the District of Columbia, it takes something a lot more deliberate than simply shacking up together to achieve such a result. Here's the good news: You can shack up with your live-in lover for years on end, and you won't wake up one morning and find out that you've magically (and unknowingly), become common law husband and wife. The idea of common law marriage arose during medieval times as a way for rural couples to become married when a justice of the peace couldn't travel to where they lived. Today, the need for common law marriage doesn't exist, and most states don't recognize such unions. In those states that do recognize common law marriages, a couple (man and woman) must demonstrate the intent to be married in the eyes of the law. They must hold themselves out to the public as husband and wife.
History & Memory 12.2 (2001) 92-121 [Access article in PDF] Traveling as a Culture of Remembrance: Traces of National Socialism in West Germany, 1945-1960 * Alon Confino For a long time, too long perhaps, the central question in Vergangenheitsbewältigung studies--that is, studies exploring the ways in which Germans have attempted since 1945 to master their Nazi past--has been whether Germans came to terms with the past or not. This is an important question, underlined by its moral urgency. But, as a historical question, it has severe limitations. Recently, it has slowly been replaced by more comprehensive questions: what did Germans remember of the Nazi past, how was it remembered and who remembered what.

It is not a secret that you have to do proper when doing any physical activity. When it comes to working out, proper breathing helps a lot more than just pushing that last rep through to finish a set. Breathing properly can have a number of advantages that many people who are working out might be missing out on.
Originally from Germany, Oktoberfest has turned into an international celebration pretty fast mostly thanks to its fun nature: good times, music and food. Over 6 million people attend this event each year only in Germany and they consume more than 7 million liters of beer! The world’s largest beer festival takes place in late September – early October, more specifically in the 16-day period leading to the first Sunday in October. If the first Sunday falls on the 1st or 2nd, then the festival would run until October 3rd. As this is the case in 2016, the German Oktoberfest will be held between September 17th and October 3rd. How it all startedOktoberfest is an over 200 years-old tradition that started in 1810 in Munich, when the town people were invited to celebrate the wedding of the Bavarian Crown Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese von Sachsen-Hildburgahausen.
Car parts made of carbon fiber have been used for decades in $1-million-plus European supercars, from the likes of Ferrari and McLaren. But for the first time, a handful of 2016 models sold in neighborhood car dealerships will feature ultralight yet expensive carbon fiber materials. The new BMW 7-series sedan, which starts at about $80,000, as well as the similarly priced Alfa Romeo 4C and Chevrolet Corvette Z06 sports cars, use carbon fiber elements. But don’t let this fool you into thinking that carbon fiber cars are on the cusp of the mainstream. While the cost of carbon fiber materials and production has declined in recent decades, it remains prohibitive for anything but limited applications in niche vehicles.
The Split Phase Motor is also known as a Resistance Start Motor. It has a single cage rotor, and its stator has two windings known as main winding and starting winding. Both the windings are displaced 90 degrees in space.
While many white musicians gravitated toward country, folk, and old-timey music to express their spirituality outside of traditional Christian hymns, Black Gospel music drew heavily upon the traditional spirituals that had been passed down from the days of slavery, picking up its more driving rhythmic emphasis from blues and early jazz. Composer and singer Thomas A. Dorsey crystallized the style in 1932 with his epochal "Take My Hand, Precious Lord," and went on to compose a great many songs that later became standards. When performed in the churches, the music was traditionally sung by a choir, with individual soloists sometimes taking the spotlight; this often happened in a form known as "call and response," in which either the choir or the soloist would repeat and/or answer the lyric which had just been sung by the other, with the soloist improvising embellishments of the melody for greater emphasis.
What is the difference between champagne and sparking wine. For that matter, is there really any difference between champagne and sparkling wines. These are questions I get asked all the time. I figured they are a worthy blog subject, so here goes.Champagne and sparkling wine are different.Champagne is different from sparkling wines.
Gravitational Potential Energy is dependent upon some mass (m) located at some height/distance (h) away from another mass which causes the first mass to experience a gravitational acceleration (g).In other words, when two masses are separated by some distance both masses posses gravitational potential energy.Electrical Potential is very similar to gravitational, but it deals with charges instead of mass. When two (non neutral) electric charges are separated, the charges possess electric potential energy in that both charges feel an electric force acting upon them which causes acceleration. When these charges are held a given distance apart, they posses some potential energy.Charged in and of themselves may also posses gravitational PE in that not only do they have an electric charge, but that also have mass (for example, electrons and Protons). In most cases, the gravitational PE is ignored since the electric force is so much greater than the gravitational force.PE_g = mghin a uniform gravitational field.PE_g = (G * M_1 * m_2) / r^2Where G is the universal gravitational constant, m (and M) is the mass of the object, g is the gravitational acceleration, h is the distance the object is held above the gravitational field, and r is the radium between the two objects' centers of mass.G = 6.67 E-11PE_e = (k * Q_1 * q_2) / r^2where k is Coulomb's constant (= 8.988 E9), Q and q are the charges on the two particles, and r is the distance between the centers of charge on the two particles.EDIT:Energy is of course measured in Joules.Do not confuse "Electrical Potential" and "Electrical Potential Energy", although the terms are similar.
Traditional animation, also known as cel animation, or hand-drawn animation, is an animation technique where each frame of the film is drawn by hand, and was - until the arrival of computer animation - the dominant form used in cinema.Although advances in technology have resulted in much of the labour of hand-drawn animation being reduced, the technique remains a long and painstaking one.The process begins with producing a series of storyboards to map out what the film will look like. These are then synced with the film's pre-recorded soundtrack to ensure that the animators know precisely when a character is speaking, or bursting into song. Character designers then work on creating model sheets, to ensure there is consistency in terms of appearance and movement across the board, with many different animators involved.Once all this is completed, the animation itself begins.
